Gigi Woolery is a Colombian-American textile artist working out of Portland, OR. Their work spans surface design, sculptural textile arts, and apparel construction. Their art practice is influenced by traditional Colombian fiber crafts, textile histories, and an intimate relationship with the natural world. They studied art with a focus on sculpture at Calarts, and art practice with a focus on textile art at Portland State University. Gigi’s work has been included in group shows such as;

Their work has been awarded by the Surface Design Association, the Jordan Schnitzer family Foundation, and the Scholastic Art and Writing Foundation.
